I love drugstore mascara. I love how cheap it is relative to the department store brands, I love how well it works, and if you actually replace it as often as you’re supposed to, it’s a huge money saver. I support splurging on quality things I use all the time, but I’m also not a fan of spending more for something than I think it’s worth (spending too much money on mascara would make me cry, which in turn would ruin my mascara – a vicious cycle).
While perusing the aisles of the drugstore the other day, I found a mascara from Organic Wear, a new line from Physicians Formula. Natural mascara at a drugstore price? I had to try it. It didn’t hurt that there was one of those “try me” coupons that was calling out to me.
The verdict? It didn’t clump, the application was easy, and it worked just as well as my good old friends Revlon and Maybelline:

As an aside, I think mascara ads and commercials are ridiculous. The lashes are clearly fake or photo-shopped.

I like it so much that Organic Wear mascara will be making it into my daily beauty routine. At $9.95, I could buy one for my purse too.
