These are quick, easy, delicious, and great for you. Here’s whats in my fridge/freezer/pantry lately when I’m in the mood to munch:
1. Frozen Cashews
I never thought I liked cashews until I started keeping nuts in the freezer to increase their shelf life. Then one day I started eating cashews from their tub in the freezer and I was like whoa. These are delicious. Now my freezer is always stocked.
2. Brown Rice Cakes with Hummus
Protein and whole grains make for an awesome mid morning snack. There’s some great brands of preservative free hummus made exclusively with olive oil out there if homemade is not your thing. Crunch and gluten-free!
3. Pink Lady Apples
I was a granny smith and red delicious girl before I found these lovely apples last month. They are sweet, crisp, and have a beautiful pink color. They are delicious on their own, or with a bit of raw almond butter.
4. Half an avocado with sea salt, garlic powder, lime juice, and hot sauce
Guacamole without a bowl. It is yummy, creamy, and satisfying.
